MBOMBELA – Ten different individuals from ten Feeding Scheme organizations from Mpumalanga, were treated with a One Day Workshop Cooking Skills.

Her Royal Highness Princess Eurika Mogane from the Mogane Royal Traditional Council, in a statement, said the community lives in dire need for Nutritional Meals, while having the cooks understand the need for basic food supply. “There are so many communities that depend on the food that most of these NGOs prepare for them on a day to day basis. Our aim for this special workshop was to teach them about eating right, Cleanliness in the Kitchen and Easy Recipes to cater for many who are in need,” her statement reads.

The Chefs Training & Innovative Academy (CTIA) Nelspruit, SPAR Lowveld DC and HRH Princess Eurika hosted the 10 representatives on the day, and they were awarded with certificates of Attendance for the completion of tasks, duties and recipes given. Ingredients and usage of the facilities were all sponsored.

“We strongly believe that through these worshops, it won’t just be the attendees who benefited, but every single person that they prepare warm meals for on a daily basis. We are hoping to recruit more sponsors so we may be able to host more of these workshops for other organizations that are serving our people.” ended HRH Princess Eurika.
