In February 2025, the 16th EU-South Africa Ministerial Political Dialogue in Cape Town set a powerful precedent for the Strategic Partnership between South Africa and the European Union.

That historic diplomatic engagement emphasized joint commitments to multilateralism, the promotion of human rights, and sustainable development.

Building on that vital diplomatic foundation, Her Royal Highness Princess Eurika Mogane has submitted a comprehensive 20-point strategic framework to the European Commission for the EU Gender Action Plan IV (2028-2034).

With approximately 32% of South Africa’s population and 25% of the European Union’s population living in rural areas, her groundbreaking submission ensures that the voices of these vital, often-overlooked communities are embedded directly into global policymaking.

Acting as a crucial bridge between grassroots cultural values and national gender justice mandates, her key strategic inputs to the EU include:

💻 Closing the Digital Divide: Championing inclusive digitalization for rural entrepreneurs to prevent severe GDP losses and secure economic autonomy for women in remote areas.
