In a powerful broadcast interview on Newzroom Afrika, Commission for Gender Equality (CGE) Commissioner HRH Princess Eurika Mogane addressed the concerning decline in female political representation and local governance leadership.

Speaking with host Stephen Grootes, HRH Princess Eurika examined the structural obstacles, hostile political environments, and coalition dynamics—including the impact of the Government of National Unity (GNU)—that continue to impede women from taking up and maintaining key leadership positions because parties only want the fierce in the forefront!

Emphasizing a fundamental principle of gender mainstreaming, HRH Princess Eurika declared: “The rise of women does not mean the fall of men.”
