โจDay 1 of the WORLD FOOD FORUM 2025|GLOBAL YOUTH ACTION ๐ฟ
Attending Day 1 of the WFF 2025 – HRH Princess Eurika Mogane
The first day kicked off with the Youth Plenary, featuring inspiring remarks from the FAO Director-General Mr. Qu Dongyu and the World Food Forum Director Kazuki Kitaoka , a great start to an exciting week of dialogue and action!
After the plenary, we joined the activities in the FAO atrium, explored the booths, and picked up some of the official WFF gadgets ๐.
In the afternoon, we attended the High-Level Opening Ceremony, which included an impactful speech by President of Brasil Lula, highlighting global cooperation for more sustainable agrifood systems.
Meanwhile, the World Food Forum Italy Chapter was proudly present at the Youth Booth, showcasing its initiatives and engaging with participants from all over the world ๐ฎ๐นโจ
Her Royal Highness Princess Eurika Mogane attended this webinar, organized by the Global Wo.Men Hub and Rise School Academy featured a conversation between Dr. @Patricia Murugami (speaker) and Magali Anderson (moderator) about women’s leadership development in Africa and beyond.
The session drew 58+ participants from across Africa and other regions, creating a vibrant discussion about leadership, entrepreneurship, and personal growth. The webinar demonstrated that leadership development in Africa and globally requires a holistic approach addressing both skills and character, individual growth and systemic change.
The enthusiasm and engagement from participants across multiple countries suggests a strong appetite for this type of transformational leadership development. The combination of practical frameworks (like the 4 H’s Raise your Heart, Head, Hand, and Higher purpose), personal vulnerability from leaders , and community building creates a powerful model for sustainable leadership development that could indeed “light up Africa and the world, one person at a time.”
Collaborative teamwork is needed to address our societal issues. We are seeing an increase of dysfunction in our households, communities and workplaces. Together we can do better and create a positive environment, conducive enough for all to thrive!
May we learn to bring back honour, respect and the celebration of life.
On the 14th of June 2025 a fire broke out and burnt 3 Classrooms and other amenities of the Crocodile Valley Primary School.
We visited the school today to find out what the infrastructure looks like, as well as the livelihood of the children at the school.
Over 150 children from the school needed timely support and care. One of boys wore an adults pants that were tied by a stalking to ensure it fits. These harsh findings led to the many partners, sponsors or donors to come on board and help us to offer as much support as we can.
Thank you so much for all your support. May the Lord bless you and enlarge your territories!

Our special thanks go to the following board members who are retiring after serving KLCBT for 12 years: Anne Briggs and Sandra Jacobs; and retiring after 18 and 22 years respectively, Johan Barnard and Dr Norah Fakude. Sandra, Johan and Norah were all past presidents during various terms.
In today’s Freedom Thursdays Workshop hosted by Mme Mmabatho Makena, we were discussing how to stop being a PEOPLE PLEASER!
Many wanted to know what to do when they had already turned the other cheek Matthew 5:39 (But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also.), but people still kept hurting them.
My Spiritual Leader immediately gave me the scripture from Proverbs 20:3 Proverbs 20:3 “It is to oneโs honor to avoid strife, but every fool is quick to quarrel.”
Avoiding certain people who like stirring quarrels, toxic environments and tension is the right thing to do. Scripture states that it’s wiser for one to do so, than to try and go back and forth with those who just want to trigger a reaction from you. Stop trying to allow people to drain you of your joy.

A few students approached me and asked me to help them resolve this crisis!

Let us bridge the Gender Inequality gaps by producing graduates who won’t be plagued with guilt from past traumatic experiences of trying to survive while studying.
