In February 2025, the 16th EU-South Africa Ministerial Political Dialogue in Cape Town set a powerful precedent for the Strategic Partnership between South Africa and the European Union.
That historic diplomatic engagement emphasized joint commitments to multilateralism, the promotion of human rights, and sustainable development.
Building on that vital diplomatic foundation, Her Royal Highness Princess Eurika Mogane has submitted a comprehensive 20-point strategic framework to the European Commission for the EU Gender Action Plan IV (2028-2034).
With approximately 32% of South Africaโs population and 25% of the European Union’s population living in rural areas, her groundbreaking submission ensures that the voices of these vital, often-overlooked communities are embedded directly into global policymaking.
Acting as a crucial bridge between grassroots cultural values and national gender justice mandates, her key strategic inputs to the EU include:
๐ Elevating Cultural Leaders and Ambassadors: Bridging South African governance with EU frameworks, HRH advocates for the formal recognition of indigenous queens and princesses as strategic Cultural Ambassadors in rural gender transformation.
๐ Driving Economic Integration: Prioritizing support for women-led logistics fleets and infrastructure to break male-dominated monopolies and secure local supply chains.
๐ป Closing the Digital Divide: Championing inclusive digitalization for rural entrepreneurs to prevent severe GDP losses and secure economic autonomy for women in remote areas.
By stepping onto the global stage, HRH Princess Eurika Mogane is proving that authentic leadership is about bringing the realities of the community to the highest halls of international power. Her advocacy demonstrates the profound impact that Cultural Ambassadors can have in shaping a more equitable world.
Join us in celebrating this monumental step for gender equality and South African leadership! ๐ฟ๐ฆ๐ช๐บ
HRH Princess Eurika Mogane attending the online engagement.
I am profoundly honoured to have contributed to a high-level global strategic briefing: โStrengthening Pathways for Indigenous Peoplesโ Participation at the UN: Free, Prior, and Informed Consent (FPIC).โ ๐๏ธ๐ฟ๐ฆ
In collaboration with United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), the The University of Kansas School of Law, and the The University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, where they addressed the urgent need for a unified front in indigenous diplomacy.
The Mission: Sovereignty Through Synergy
On this global platform, I stood as a bridge for our Traditional Houses and the Khoi-San people. Our struggle for recognition and the protection of ancestral lands is shared; therefore, our seat at the international table must be collective and unwavering.
๐ค Purpose: Ensuring FPIC is not a “tick-box” exercise, but a deep-rooted respect for the sovereignty of our Traditional Houses. ๐ค Partnership: Aligning with academic giants like Kansas and Utah Law to provide our Khoi-San and Royal leaders with the legal “teeth” to negotiate. ๐ค Action: Moving beyond dialogue to ensure that Free, Prior, and Informed Consent is a mandatory prerequisite for any development on indigenous land. ๐ค Sustainability: Guaranteeing that the outcomes of these UN engagements provide long-term socio-economic security for the generations that follow.
A Message to Our Communities:
To our Traditional Leaders and the Khoi-San nation: Your heritage is the heartbeat of this land. By standing at this international crossroads, we are ensuring that no door is closed to us and no policy is written in our name without our signature.
No decision about our land, our resources, or our future should ever be made without us. We are not just stakeholders; we are the rightful custodians of our legacy. Together, we are building a path of dignity, legal empowerment, and self-determination. ๐โจ
Multi-Award Winning Community Leader and Life Coach
My journey into life coaching began with my background in Community Volunteer work, Christian Ministry and Community Development, where I learned the power of empathy and the importance of empowering individuals to take charge of their own lives. Early on, I witnessed firsthand how supporting people through their struggles could spark significant change. Yet, I realized that true transformation wasnโt about handing out solutionsโit was about equipping people with the skills to discover those solutions for themselves.
I fell in love with goal-oriented practice during my time as a Final Year University Mentor for Final Year Students from the University of Pretoria. For two years, I work closely with students, guiding them to develop the habits and mindset necessary for success. It wasnโt about MAKING them successful; it was about showing them how to build the habits that lead to success. I discovered that when you teach someone to set clear goals and develop actionable plans, youโre not just solving a problemโyouโre empowering them to become the architect of their own future.
This approach deeply resonated with me. Coaching, at its core, is about teaching others how to create sustainable change. Itโs about fostering the skills, self-discipline, and confidence needed to navigate lifeโs challenges without relying on someone else to provide the answers. Every coaching session is a reminder that the power to transform lies within each individual.
By combining my passion for Community Upliftment as a Community Leader, with my commitment to goal-oriented practice, I embraced life coaching as a means to help others build lasting habits and reclaim control over their lives. And thatโs why I do what I doโhelping people unlock their potential and craft their own success stories.

My Key Skills As A Life Coach and Mentor:
1. Communication Skills: As a life coach, you need to be an excellent communicator. This means being able to express your ideas clearly and effectively. It also means listening carefully to your clients, understanding their needs, and responding in a way that helps them feel heard and supported.
2. Empathy: Empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of others. Itโs crucial for building trust and rapport with your clients. When you show empathy, your clients feel understood and valued, which makes it easier for them to open up and work through their challenges.
3. Guiding clients towards solutions: Life coaches guide the client to solve their own problems and explore their own solutions. The thing a life coach must be able to do well is LISTEN and ASK questions, as this will help the client discover the solutions to their problems.
4. Goal-Setting Abilities: A big part of life coaching is helping clients set and achieve their goals. You need to be able to help them define clear, achievable goals and create a plan to reach them. This requires organization, strategic thinking, and the ability to motivate and encourage your clients.
5. Patience and Persistence: Change doesnโt happen overnight. As a life coach, you need to be patient and persistent, supporting your clients through their journey, even when progress seems slow. Encouraging them to stay focused and committed is key to helping them achieve lasting results.

MOKOPANE โ This Womenโs Month was celebrated with Royalty here at MOKOPANE. Making it an exceptional and exciting event.
From cleaning offices, to currently being a top graduate from the University of Cambridge Scholarship Recipient in the Sustainable Development Goals : Law and Policy certification. HRH Princess Eurika Mogane, learnt early in life that things arenโt easy and one needs to be committed above average in order to make it. Women and men came from different parts of South Africa to converge in Mokopane, at the Park Hotel for an evening filled with motivational speakers and practical skills for attendees to start applying in their businesses.
The Origins
The Phetogo Property Group hosts annual Womenโs Empowerment Seminars. The vision was founded by Ms. Ntsadi Lebelo, who was born and bred in the Mokopane area. She saw the need to bring notable leaders in various industries to converge in one space, with the aim of sharing like-minded information and to find ways of combating poverty in our areas.
The event theme is โItโs All About Me!โ focusing on ways to bring empowerment and a sense of accountability to all those who attended the event. โOur people are passionate about starting and growing their businesses, but only few are disciplined and skilled enough to make them sustainable. This event aims to equip us all with the tools needed to build lasting legacies,โ said Ms. Ntsadi Lebelo.
Ms. Ntsadi Lebelo – Founder of Phetogo Property Group and Women’s Empowerment Seminar
On the day of the Event:
The key topics covered on the day were, Women in Finance, Women in Leadership, Women as Community Pioneers and the Key Note Speaker was Her Royal Highness Princess Eurika Mogane. Business owners were encouraged to seek help from their banks to ensure that they are always in line with the law. They were reminded of the importance of keeping a paper trail and ensuring that they live to grow the vision and not just to fill their pockets.
HRH Princess Eurika and Apostle K
โBe comfortable with knowing who you are and what youโre capable of doing โ while also being honest with what you canโt do. Most businesses fail because someone wanted to do everything themselves, instead of delegating. Youโll and more productive if you know how to manage your time, resources and also be honest with your strengths and weaknesses.โ Said a beaming Princess Eurika Mogane.
This was the Third Annual Womenโs Empowerment Seminar and it is set to bring more upliftment and transformation for women to enter and grow even in male dominated industries. โThe rise of women, shouldnโt mean the fall of men. We must learn from them as they have been in leadership longer than us.โ Concluded Princess Eurika Mogane. END
When my Spiritual Father says I must check my emails because there’s a message waiting for me and I find this special mailer. Blessed to be in this Divine Ministry!

Her Royal Highness Princess Eurika Mogane from the Mogane Royal Traditional Council, in a statement, said the community lives in dire need for Nutritional Meals, while having the cooks understand the need for basic food supply. “There are so many communities that depend on the food that most of these NGOs prepare for them on a day to day basis. Our aim for this special workshop was to teach them about eating right, Cleanliness in the Kitchen and Easy Recipes to cater for many who are in need,โ her statement reads.
The Chefs Training & Innovative Academy (CTIA) Nelspruit, SPAR Lowveld DC and HRH Princess Eurika hosted the 10 representatives on the day, and they were awarded with certificates of Attendance for the completion of tasks, duties and recipes given. โWe strongly believe that through these worshops, it won’t just be the attendees who benefited, but every single person that they prepare warm meals for on a daily basis. We are hoping to recruit more sponsors so we may be able to host more of these workshops for other organizations that are serving our people.” ended HRH Princess Eurika.

This morning, we convened at the Thulamahashe Community Hall for a critical Accountability Session on the Support Provided to Women in Agriculture. It was a profound privilege to lead this engagement and hear directly from our rural women farmers.
You are the true backbone of our local economy, driving job creation and food security, yet you remain structurally marginalised by unequal access to land, finance, and markets.
Thank you to everyone who tuned in to Capricorn FM this evening! It was an excellent platform to unpack these systemic barriers and publicly reaffirm the mandate of the Commission for Gender Equality.
Commissioner HRH Princess Eurika Mogane
We are drawing a firm line: policy on paper is no longer enough. We will continue to demand transparent, gender-responsive budgeting and strict, measurable timelines from the Mpumalanga Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Land and Environmental Affairs.
We cannot say that there are Empowerment Programmes, yet there are no sustainable support structures. On paper it looks good, but on the ground with the people, beneficiaries say that they are made to sign but don’t get any support.
Empowering women in agriculture is essential for rural development and economic transformation. The work continues!
Commissioner HRH Princess Eurika Mogane outside the Mbombela High Court.
Led by Commissioner HRH Princess Eurika Mogane, the Commission for Gender Equality (CGE) underscores that its mandate to monitor cases is a critical tool in ensuring the justice system works for the people, especially the victims of gender-based violence.
Commissioner Mogane recently spearheaded a strategic engagement at the Mbombela High Court with the National Prosecuting Authority of South Africa (NPA) to break down operational silos and ensure absolute accountability and cooperation between the NPA, SAPS, and the Department of Justice (DOJ).
Key Takeaways From the Intervention:
* The Two-Week Feedback Window: The CGE has established a dedicated 14-day window with the NPA to submit complaints regarding pending or stalled cases and receive direct, actionable feedback on their progress. * Active Case Tracking: The Commission has officially received and updated its records on an extensive list of monitored cases across Mpumalanga, including active files in Schoemansdal, Tonga, Boschfontein, Kabokweni, Volksrust, Thulamahashe, Kriel, Barberton, and Kamhlushwa.
Commissioner Mogane and the CGE Mpumalanga team are closely tracking court dates, postponements, and outstanding prosecutor decisions on these specific files to ensure they do not fall through the cracks. * Addressing Case Withdrawals: A major concern highlighted by the NPA is the high rate of case withdrawals due to a lack of witness or complainant cooperation during investigations.
Commissioner Mogane is calling on civil society and community structures to help support victims so they feel safe, protected, and empowered to see their cases through to trial.
Community Call to Action: Submitting Case Numbers
Commissioner Mogane urges community members who know of or are experiencing an active, unresolved, or improperly handled gender-based violence or statutory rape case in Mpumalanga to come forward rather than letting it sit in silence.
The CGE encourages community members to reach out directly by providing a CAS Number or Court Case Number, along with the relevant police station or court area.
The Commission will use this strategic monitoring window to escalate these files and demand answers from the authorities.
Commissioner Mogane emphasizes that closing the gaps in the justice system requires a collective effort, and the CGE remains dedicated to ensuring that every voice is heard.
The official opening of the Mpumalanga Provincial House of Traditional and Khoi-San Leaders hosted by Mpumalanga Coghsta ,marks a significant step in aligning heritage with modern governance.
Commissioner HRH Princess Eurika Mogane from the Commission for Gender Equality, welcomes the “Sovereign Standard” reflected in the Honorable Premierโs Mandla Ndlovu MP’s commitments, particularly regarding the advancement of gender equality and rural development.
In analyzing the Premier’s address from the above speech, here are several key milestones for the province deserve appreciation:
โ๏ธ Womenโs Economic Empowerment: Traditional Councils are being transformed into hubs for local economic coordination, with a specific mandate to promote women’s participation in economic activity, SMMEs, and cooperatives.
โ๏ธ A Unified Front Against GBVF: Acknowledging that the police cannot work in isolation, the province is integrating traditional leadership into ward-based safety planning and joint community safety forums to combat Gender-Based Violence.
โ๏ธ Dignity Through Infrastructure:The completion and renovation of over 55 Traditional Council Offices, equipped with digital connectivity, ensures that leadership and community consultations happen in functional, respected spaces.
โ๏ธ Accountability to the People: The emphasis on Ummemo cultural gatherings as vital platforms for annual reporting and transparency ensures that Traditional Councils remain accountable to the communities they serve.
โ๏ธ Agrarian Transformation: High appreciation is noted for the “Masibuyele Esibayeni Programme,” which aims to provide essential opportunities for livestock production and the commercialization of communal farming.
Sustainable development in Mpumalanga is anchored in the belief that leadership is not about privilege, but about service.
By placing women and traditional heritage at the center of the province’s economic strategy, Mpumalanga secures a dignified future for generations to come.
HRH Princess Eurika Mogane Wins SILVER at 2026 Women Changing the World Global Awards
MBOMBELA, SOUTH AFRICA โ HRH Princess Eurika Mogane, CEO of Tharika M Group and Secretary General of the South African Royal Princesses Network (SARPN), has been named the runner-up in the First Nations Leadership Award at the 2026 Women Changing the World Global Awards.
This yearโs awards saw over 1,500 nominations from 97 countries, highlighting the extraordinary global impact of women leading change across industries and communities. These Awards celebrate and recognize women achieving outstanding success in areas such as sustainability, humanitarian work, leadership, and advocacy. The awards are designed to recognize women who are leading the way in making the world a better place and to inspire others to make a difference.
HRH Princess Eurika Mogane is a dedicated traditional leader and entrepreneur who balances her role as the Princess Royal (Rakgadi) of the Mogane Royal Family with high-level corporate and diplomatic advocacy. Her work focuses on the intersection of logistics, forestry, and gender equality. This work is so important because it bridges the gap between traditional leadership and modern sustainable development, ensuring that indigenous voices are at the forefront of the global ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) conversation.
Princess Eurika says: โWinning this award was a deeply humbling validation of the path I have chosen. It is an honor to be recognized on a global stage in Paris, and this award is important to me because it highlights the vital role that First Nations and traditional leaders play in driving sustainable global changeโ.
The vision for these awards is to empower women everywhere to step into their power and call in women across the globe to pave the way towards a better future for all. It can be challenging to create change in the world, and Princess Eurika gives this advice for others thinking about following their calling: โAuthentic leadership requires the courage to honor your roots while boldly building your own legacy; never shrink to fit into spaces you were born to leadโ.
Princess Eurika is proud of her achievements; in the last 12 months, she has been appointed as a Global Ambassador for The ESG Institute, served as a judge for the World Food Forum Startup Innovation Awards, and participated in UN strategic briefings on Indigenous participation. The recent handover of 128 new South African Police Service vehicles on the 31st of March 2026, is a monumental step toward closing the gap between reporting a crime and seeing justice served.
SABC News coverage of the CGE Hearing: In-front: Acting Commissioner Dr. Mkwanazi and Behind: Commissioner HRH Eurika Mogane
Through our rigorous oversight and investigative hearings, we identified critical barriers that forced many survivors to withdraw their cases: 1) Response Times: A severe shortage of vehicles meant police often couldn’t attend to GBV calls or domestic violence scenes promptly. 2) Investigative Delays: Detectives lacked the mobility to visit witnesses or gather evidence, leading to dockets gathering dust and survivors losing hope. 3) FCS Unit Gaps: Our findings specifically highlighted that Family Violence, Child Protection, and Sexual Offences (FCS) units were under-resourced, directly impacting the most vulnerable.
These vehicles aren’t just transport; they are tools for accountability. They will: โ Shorten response times to active GBV scenes. โ Empower detectives to fast-track investigations and keep dockets moving. โ Increase police visibility in rural areas where access to justice is often hardest to reach. โ Support victims by ensuring officers can reach them for feedback and support.
1) September 2024: The CGE held a high-profile investigative hearing with SAPS and the NPA in Mpumalanga to probe the alarming rate of case withdrawals. This was the same day that Commission HRH Princess Eurika Mogane started as a Commissioner in the CGE. 2) October 2025: We published our comprehensive Report on the Investigation and Withdrawal of Sexual Offences Cases in Mpumalanga, which formally recommended the urgent standardisation of resourcing and vehicle allocation.
Commissioner HRH Eurika Mogane and the Commission for Gender Equality remains committed to ensuring that “gender mainstreaming” is not just a policy on paper, but a reality for every person in our province. We wish to applaud MEC Mec Jackie Macie – Dcssl for the sense of urgency regardless of tight budgets.
We will continue to monitor these resources to ensure they are used for their intended purpose: protecting our people.
To my fellow Traditional Leaders, Dikgosi, abo Ndabezitha, Dikgoshikgadi, o-Ndlunkulu, Princes and Princesses and the people of our soil,
The time for a passive seat at the table of governance is over. As we reflect on recent eventsโincluding the unsettling discourse surrounding the attempted installation of foreign traditional structures like the “Igbo King” on our landโwe have received a loud and clear wake-up call. We cannot expect others to respect our borders and our birthright if we do not stand firmly within them ourselves.
Seeing our people rising up and protecting the Thrones and Heritage of South African Traditional Leadership shows that there is so much honour and respect that is still seen and celebrated. Our own people took a stand to make it clear that only South African Traditional Houses and Royal Families are for the South African soil! If this isn’t the ultimate nudge we needed to know our role, responsibility and respect from all, then we are in denial.
As your sister, Princess Eurika Mogane of the Mogane Royal Family and Traditional Council of Moremela, I am calling for a modern revolution of the heart and mind within our Traditional Leadership.
HRH Princess Eurika Mogane – Princess from the Mogane Royal Family and Mogane Traditional Council.
1. Taking Our Seat Seriously Leadership is not a title; it is a duty of care. We must be proactive, not reactive. To lead in 2026, we must be the most informed people in the room. This means pursuing educationโboth in the classroom and through the lived experiences of our globalized world. We must master the digital age and modern economics to ensure our heritage isn’t just a relic of the past, but a pillar of our future. We must be part of decision makers in legislation and give much needed inputs into the Bills that are open for inputs. Our inputs are to protect our people and our heritage.
2. Sovereignty Over Interference We are the custodians of this land. We must stop allowing outside individuals, corporate interests, or political agendas to dictate the direction of our leadership. If we do not define our roles, others will define them for usโand usually to their own benefit. Our authority is ancestral; it is not for sale or external negotiation.
3. The Power of Proximity Unlike others who visit once every few years for a vote, we live where our people live. We breathe the same air, walk the same dust, and hear the cries of our community daily. This proximity is our greatest strength. We are positioned to be the most impactful leaders in South Africa because we are the only ones who truly never leave.
4. Impact Over Politics It is time to look past the noise of party politics. We were born with an inherent power that predates any ballot box. We must use that influence to: * Shape legislation that protects rural development. * Advocate for land rights and sustainable farming. * Ensure our culture and heritage are integrated into the modern economy.
“We are not leaders because of a crown, but because of the people we carry on our shoulders.”
Let us rise, get empowered, and become the impactful shields our communities deserve.
Kgoshi Frederick Mogane – the Chief of the Mogane Royal Family and Mogane Traditional Council based in Moremela Mpumalanga.
